Obituary:

Ronald Walter Pearson,
a Denton resident for over thirty years, affectionately
known as "Pop", went to his heavenly home today, October 11,
2011 at the age of 69. This kind man of faith is survived by
his wonderful bride of forty-nine and a half years, Sylvia
K. Davis. They met in Borger, Texas and married on the
island of Guam while he served in the United States Navy. He
is also survived by his children Robin Herrington (Stewart
Herrington) of Richardson, Rhonda Tovar (Narcisso Tovar) of
Lewisville and John "Sparky" Pearson (Carrie Pearson) of
Argyle. He's also survived by his three loving sisters Joan
Dwyer of Coeur d' Alene, Judy Pearson of Coeur d' Alene,
Marti Monti of Phoenix, and and his loved sister-in-law Sue
Davis of Wimberley. He is also survived by his nieces Amy
Schneider, Shannon O'Brien and Lindsay Monti as well as his
nephews Todd Dwyer and Derek Monti. He also leaves behind
many beloved cousins and friends. Pop was a friend to anyone
who needed one. His pride and joy were his grandchildren:
Katelynn Pearson, Will Pearson, Kacie Herrington, and Grant
Pearson, who know beyond a shadow of a doubt, Pop's Gone
Fishin' in Heavenly Lakes! The Funeral Service will be 10:00
am Tuesday October 18, 2011 at the Denton Bible Church
Chapel Denton. The Dr. Steve Bezner will conduct the
service. Burial will follow at 1: 00 pm at the Dallas Fort
